Kevin Barker is an associate in the firm's litigation practice. Mr. Barker represents developers, contractors, investment trusts, condominium associations, property owners, and others in a variety of litigation matters related to real estate, construction, commercial leasing, business transactions, contract disputes, and landlord and tenant law.  Mr. Barker also maintains a general civil litigation practice and has represented clients in connection with professional malpractice claims, government contracts, employment law, and torts.  Mr. Barker's practice encompasses both trial and appellate litigation.  Mr. Barker also has experience with public and private internal investigations. 

Prior to joining Bregman, Berbert, Schwartz & Gilday, Mr. Barker served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert G. James, who was then the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

Mr. Barker earned his J.D., cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C. in 2010. During law school, he was the editor in chief of the Administrative Law Review.

Mr. Barker is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New York.
