Principal
Catherine Harrington's principal area of practice is litigation. She handles litigation related to real estate, construction, landlord and tenant law, business transactions, and contract disputes.
Ms. Harrington is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Montgomery County.
Ms. Harrington initially joined Bregman, Berbert, Schwartz & Gilday, LLC as a law clerk in 2004. Ms. Harrington obtained her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the American University, Washington College of Law in 2005. During law school, she served on the Executive Board of the American University International Law Review as the Senior Notes & Comments Editor.
Ms. Harrington received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service cum laude from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service in 2002. While a student at Georgetown, Ms. Harrington majored in international politics with a concentration in international security and also earned a certificate in Russian and Eastern European Studies. Ms. Harrington was President of the Blue & Gray Tour Guide Society at Georgetown. She currently serves as a Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program Interviewer.
